An excellent source of niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, iron, phosphorous, magnesium & zinc. A good source of riboflavin, pantothenic acid, folate & Vitamin C. A very high source of dietary fibre.
 
1 lb lean ground beef 500 g
1 clove garlic, minced 1
1 cup chopped onion 250 mL
1/2 cup chopped green pepper 125 mL
1 (14 oz/398 mL) can of Beans with Pork in Tomato Sauce 1
1 (7 1/2 oz./213 mL) can of tomato sauce 1
1/2 cup water 125 mL
2 tsp chili powder 10 mL

In large frying pan, saute beef, garlic, onions and green pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender, about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, water and chili powder. Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.
