Creamy White Bean Hummus with Paprika Zaatar Oil

Description
Exotic flavors and texture that will tantalize your taste buds to no end. Beautiful silky pureed white bean and tahini meets garlic, a bit of sour cream, some citrus from the lemon, and a paprika zataar oil that looks beautiful and is perfect with some toasted pita.
A healthy perfect starter to any meal or midday snack.
Ingredients
- 1 can white beans
- 3 Tbsp tahini
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 heaping Tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 garlic clove
- the juice of 1/2 a lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
Topping
- 2 Tbsp extra virgen olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp zaatar
- pinch of salt
Instructions
Hummus:
Pour white beans into a fine colander, and rinse with cold water.
In a food processor, combine beans, tahini, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Pulse until the mixture becomes smooth.
Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste.
Add in sour cream and pulse until well incorporated and creamy.
Spoon out of food processor bowl into a serving dish.
Topping:
In a ramekin whisk olive oil, zataar, paprika, salt. Whisk until smooth and mixed well.
Pour over the hummus, and serve with toasted pita
and fresh vegetables.
